Donating to Goodwill can give you a good feeling, but also could get you a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

Until June 15 people in the Missouri and Illinois bi-state area can bring clothing and household item donations to any Goodwill store for a chance to win one of three trips for two adults and two children to Walt Disney World, courtesy of Radio Disney and AAA Travel.

The prize package, a $3,200 value, includes round trip airfare to Orlando, hotel accommodations for four days and three nights for two adults and two children, and all day passes to Walt Disney World.During the registration time period, those who bring donations in to area Goodwill donation centers will receive a registration form to enter the sweepstakes and every visit to Goodwill is another opportunity to register.

A public drawing, supervised by the independent third party Humes & Barrington LLP, takes place June 22 at the Goodwill headquarters, 1727 Locust St., in downtown to determine the winners.

"A trip to Walt Disney World in exchange for a few donated household items or some used clothes would be a dream come true for most people," Dave Kutchback, COO of MERS Goodwill, said. "What we want people to realize is that making dreams come true is what Goodwill does every day."

MERS Goodwill is the largest provider of direct social services in the region, focusing on training and career services for people facing barriers to employment. The organization serves more than 10,000 people per year, helping them gain the skills necessary to enter the workforce and support themselves and their families.

Those career rehabilitation programs are paid for in part by proceeds from goods donated and sold at area Goodwill stores.
